Here’s a few on our ‘wish list’…
Every year around 1.5million wildebeest (also called gnu) migrate in an 800km loop across the Serengeti plains driven by seasonal rains and a search for pasture. It is an extraordinary sight to drive into the middle of the herd and see wildebeest and the compatible zebras to the horizon. Naturally, the massive herds attract predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, who co-exist in an exquisite balance. In February, 2020 we observed the Serengeti ecosystem at close range and better than any nature documentary could ever show. The abundant wildlife together with the magnificence of the Serengeti plains, the Ngorongoro crater and the Great Rift Valley made an unforgettable and unique trek. Stunning.

Travelsampler.world is for like-minded travellers who have an eye to travelling well while exploring both ‘bucket-list’ destinations, and locations somewhere off the beaten track. We’re independent, curious and interested in the world. We only talk about destinations we’ve visited in person, which is why you see the disclaimer above. Integrity and trust demand we are honest with our fellow travellers. Third party relationships will be openly disclosed.
Please know that we don’t work for free or because ‘it’s good for our brand’, we don’t ‘promote’ unrelated or untested content, and the only guest contributions we accept are short, verified submissions from fellow travellers that are relevant to the destination. We’re interested in meaningful business relationships that meet your needs and ours.
If that sounds like a good starting point, drop us a line with ‘Proposal’ in the subject line and let’s talk.
